Lucid Realities enhance french creation and artistic culture, to enchant, show and teach.
Lucid realities is a production company and immersive experiences studio dedicated to immersive and interactive storytelling.
The company also owns a distribution company, Unframed Collection and the immersive experience distribution plateform unframed-collection.com.
All our entities as well as our testing and showcasing studio are situated in the FAST quarter — The largest cultural district of Europe — administrated by the Fiminco Foundation at Romainville in the Greater Paris area. We also share, in the same area, a Motion Capture studio create in collaboration with XR Addict - Studio Bianca Li.
Funded in 2018 by Chloé Jarry and François Bertrand (Camera Lucida), the company is directed by Chloé Jarry and assemble a team of thirty around talented directors.
For us, VR is more than just technology. It’s the opportunity to create new forms of experiences that put virtuality reality emotion-eliciting power at the service of storytelling, authors, as well as social and educational concerns. Our first virtual reality project, The Enemy, by Karim Ben Khelifa, that we produced for Camera Lucida prouve our capacity to create innovative distribution systems.
Since its creation, Lucid Realities’ team produced several VR experiences including Claude Monet - The Water Lilies Obsession by Nicolas Thépot (co-produced by the Musée d’Orsay et de l’Orangerie — Winner of the Viveport award for the best Art & Culture experience of the year, and shown in more than 25 venues worldwide), Endodrome create by plastic artist Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster and show at the Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia in 2019, the master painters’ experiences, Van Gogh’s Palette, Monsieur Vincent, Dance Dance Dance - Matisse (from duo formed by Agnès Molia and Gordon), Outrenoir, a tribute to the painter Pierre Soulages, and others such as Flow by Adriaan Lockman (Special Jury Prize at Venice Immersive 2023). The production company also produce immersive exhibitions such as Magellan, an odyssey that changed the world.
